Turns out having a sister who’s married to an overworked man has its perks. Like when they sign up for a wine and cheese tasting and he gets stuck at the office. Enter my good fortune. SUCKA! The only downside to this last-minute invite was that it was a couples class. So Anne and I were going to look like lesbian lovas! Naturally I was in. Turns out a bunch of people went the friend route too, so no worries there. We had three different delicious wines, yummy appetizers like fancy mac and cheese, brie with delish cherry jam (which Anne and I both bought), and my favorite, a cheese called Green Hill. Yummedyumyum. Thanks, Anne, for a fun, unexpected, little activity!
